The Connecticut Association for the Gifted is excited to announce an online opportunity for parents in a new group format: Parents and Advocates for Gifted Education (PAGE). CAG is offering PAGE as an opportunity to support and encourage the development of gifted students through an understanding of their characteristics and needs, by fostering appropriate educational opportunities for them at home, in school, and in the larger community. These upcoming PAGE sessions will focus on how parents, teachers and others are helping each other with the purpose of providing appropriate educational and life experiences for gifted children.


PAGE sessions will focus on how parents, teachers and others are helping each other with the purpose of providing appropriate educational and life experiences for gifted children.

The objectives for PAGE is to:

1. Keep informed regarding issues affecting gifted persons on the local, state and national levels.

2. Inform its members and others about the characteristics and needs of gifted students, their education and other issues that may affect their well-being.

3. Support a strong gifted education program, understanding that such a program supports a strong education for all children.

4. Promote advocacy.
