Educator of the Year Award
Recognizing a program, teacher, or school administrator who has gone above and beyond to provide gifted students with an exceptional academic experience, CAG's Educator of the Year award honors one of our state's administrators or teachers, many of whose contributions too often go unheralded. Friend of the Gifted Award
It takes a lot of effort to advocate for gifted education, and champions of the cause come from all walks of life, from educators, to parents, to members of the community. The "CAG Gifted Kids' Hero" Recognition Program
This program is designed for members to recognize and thank anyone who has advocated on behalf of gifted education and/or helped to create a positive experience for gifted children in his or her classroom, school, district, home or community.  For all the details and to recognize someone, click here.

Nicholas Green Award
The Connecticut Association for the Gifted participates in the National Association for Gifted Children's Nicholas Green Distinguished Student Award program. This award recognizes distinguished achievement in academics, leadership, and/or the arts, in children grades 3 through 6.  For all the details and to recognize someone, click here.

Fairfield County Student Scholarship Opportunities
The FCCF Greater Bridgeport Area Scholarship Program is now accepting online applications.  Graduating seniors from high schools and current college students from the Greater Bridgeport Area towns of Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Milford, Monroe, Shelton, Stratford, Trumbull or Westport may apply.  For more information, click here.  

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Young Scholars Program
The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Young Scholars Program selects high-achieving youth with financial need and provides them with individualized educational services throughout high school that will enable them to develop their talents and abilities. Read more.

The Davidson Fellows Scholarships
The Davidson Institute for Talent Development awards $50,000, $25,000, and $10,000 scholarships to extraordinary young people, 18 and under, who have completed a significant piece of work in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Literature, Music, Philosophy and Outside the Box For more information, click here.  

The Caroline D. Bradley Scholarship
The Caroline D. Bradley Scholarship identifies exceptionally gifted middle school students who have demonstrated academic and personal excellence, and awards them with a scholarship to the high school that best meets their academic and personal needs. For more information, click here.

QuestBridge College Prep Scholarship for High School Juniors
QuestBridge's College Prep Scholarship is designed to distinguish qualified high school juniors as potential candidates for admission to top colleges, and provides resources to help them get there.  For more information, click here.

QuestBridge College Match Scholarships
The College Match offers full four-year scholarships covering tuition and room and board for high-achieving low-income students.  All College Match scholarships cover 100% of demonstrated financial need and are loan-free.  For more information and to apply visit www.questbridge.org.
